Team Leader - Admissions/Customer Service
2024 Summer Seasonal Position
Discovery Island Waterpark
417 Baldwin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607
Pay Rate: $15.61/hour

• Provides daily management of aquatic facility ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of safety.
• Supervises the work of admissions personnel and ensures that professional, courteous customer service is provided to patrons at all times.
• Receives, receipts and accounts for various fee payments; prepares related records and reports; follows up on collections of outstanding payments. Ensures the safekeeping of all monies and safe delivery to bank.
• Supervises all aspects of cash handling, maintenance of petty cash, coordinating lockers, pick-up materials, etc.
• Opens, closes and secures facilities at appropriate times.
• Assists and coordinates the use of the facility for private events (parties & exclusives).
• Inspects facility to ensure security and safety. Assists with cleaning.
• Orders and maintains inventory of necessary equipment, materials and supplies.
• Receives and responds to inquiries, concerns, complaints and requests for assistance.

*** Position requires day, night, weekend, & some holiday work throughout the summer season ***
Qualifications:
• Requires two years relevant experience. Previous managerial/supervisory, cash handling, scheduling, and front-line customer service beneficial and greatly preferred.
• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent), valid state driver’s license, & Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Prefer CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
